This policy explains how the personal data of users visiting www.cofipack.it is processed, pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.

Data processed and purposes
- Browsing data. The systems that run the website collect some technical data (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) needed to provide the service and keep it secure.
- Data provided voluntarily. The form on the Contact page does not store any data on the website: it opens the user's email program with a message addressed to info@cofipack.it. The data contained in the email (name, company, email address, message) is used only to reply to the request.
- Visit statistics. Only with the user's consent, the website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure, in aggregate form, how pages are viewed.
Legal basis and retention
Browsing data is processed on the basis of the controller's legitimate interest in ensuring the operation and security of the website. Contact requests are processed to reply to the user (pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and kept for the time needed to handle them. Google Analytics statistics are based on consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which can be withdrawn at any time.
Cookies and similar technologies
- Technical (always active). The website stores in the browser the choice made in the cookie banner, so that it is not shown at every visit. The choice remains valid for 6 months.
- Third-party analytics (only with consent). Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, sets cookies with the prefix
_galasting up to 2 years. Data may be transferred to the United States on the basis of Google's participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. - Google Maps (only on request). On the Contact page the map is loaded only if the user clicks “Show map”; from that moment Google may set its own cookies.
Consent to analytics cookies can be given or withdrawn at any time from , also available at the bottom of every page. Cookies can also be deleted from the browser settings.
Recipients
Data may be processed, as data processors, by the website hosting provider and by Google for the services described above. Data is not disclosed to the public.
User rights
Users may at any time request access to their data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and may object to processing (Arts. 15–22 GDPR), by writing to info@cofipack.it. They also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).
